The Alcyon Hotel is one of the best affordable accommodation in the Chateaux de la Loire valley, famous in France for its landscape and history. Named after a bird symbolizing quiet and peacefulness, the Alcyon Hotel, located in Saumur, near the train station, offers an isolated corner of tranquility for every guest.

In this lovely 2-star hotel, guests will discover the soothing family ambience lavished by the owners providing any information concerning Saumur's history and architecture, culinary tradition, regional wines and the extraordinary beautiful surroundings of the Loire's Castles area. The Alcyon is also a stop-over hotel for motorcyclists.
