Nimes is the perfect base to discover the roman attractions such as Pont de Garde bridge, Arles and Orange, the gothic Papal Palace in Avignon as well as the medieval city of Uzès.

Nature lovers will appreciate the scenery of the nearby Rhône delta and the Cevennes mountains. The Mediterranean sea and its splendid beaches are also in close vicinity.
