Treff Hotel Sonnwendhof is located in a very quiet position in the center of Engelberg. The Alpine town is situated at an altitude of 1,050 meters, 14 miles/22 km from Stans.
Engelberg is a ski-resort, offering 51 miles/82 km of ski slopes, and 24 lifting facilities, and the Treff Hotel Sonnwendhof is a paradise for both winter and summer holidays.
Treff Hotel Sonnwendhof offers a hotel bar, a seminar room, as well as an Internet point, and wireless Internet access throughout the building. Moreover, the hotel guests can use the sauna, and the wellness facilities of the nearby Ramada Hotel.

By car
Take the A2 highway Basel-Gotthard and get off at Stans-Süd. There is a main road, leading to Engelberg, open all year round. From Stans, it takes about 20 minutes to Engelberg.
By train
From Lucerne: take the Luzern-Stans-Engelberg train to Engelberg. Travelling time is of about 1 hour. From Engelberg train station, go towards the Kurpark; it takes you 5 minutes on foot. Alternatively the Treff Hotel Sonnwendhof can pick you up with the hotel shuttle bus.
By airplane
The distance to Zurich Airport is of approximately 65 miles/100 km. There is a train connecting the airport directly with the Engelberg train station. Travelling time is of about 2 hour.
