GENERAL

exterior del hotel Situated in the Alta Maremma area of Tuscany, Villa la Bandita is a property of
55 hectares and extends along the hills above the Val di Cornia. It is a few kms from the historic villages of Castagneto Carducci and Bolgheri and the beaches of Marina di Castagneto and San Vincenzo (Etruscan Riviera) which front the collection of islands of the Tuscan Archipelago. It is truly a magic place, characterised by the flora and fauna of the Mediterranean juxtaposed with
vineyards and olive groves. The port of Piombino is 45 min. away by car and from there guests can easily access the beautiful island of Elba. Our main Villa, dating back to 18th century, has been transformed into an elegant and quite "Country House". The furnishings, paintings and antiques bestow an atmosphere of privacy and luxury. Villa la Bandita is an ideal base for planning trips to Volterra, San Gimignano, Siena, Massa Marittima, Campiglia Marittima, Pisa….as well as to wineries and olive mills. At disposal of our guests: Restaurant on the main Villa's terrace, Swimming pool and Tennis court.

habitación matrimonial The estate Tenuta la Bandita consists of the main Villa or "Villa Padronale" which dates back to the 18th century and two depandance nearby "La Foresteria" and "Gli Ulivi". All accomodation (some with four poster beds) are finely decorated with original period furniture, paintings and traditional Tuscan terracotta brick floors and large windows with marvellous view. Some rooms are enhanced by a private small garden or by balcony.All rooms are equipped with: TV,telephone,minibar,wireless,safebox,hairdryer.

DESAYUNO

For breakfast buffet we offer a variety of different breads, muesli, fruits, yogurt, bread spreads and much more, which you will find on our big buffet table.Part of the offered jam and all the cakes are home made and the vegetables are organic produce from our own garden.
Cappuccino, Espresso, Hot Chocolate and other hot drinks are served by our breakfast staff.Not included in the breakfast buffet, but certainly available on request are different preparations of eggs like scrambled or fried eggs.

CÓMO LLEGAR

By car
FROM THE NORTH:
Take the Motorway A1 from Milano and nearby Parma follow the signs for La Spezia. At La Spezia take the Motorway A12 towards Rosignano Marittimo, where the highway ends. Now follow signs for ROMA-GROSSETO and exit in DONORATICO.***At the end of the sliproad at the roundabout, follow the signs for CASTAGNETO CARDUCCI to the right. Pass over a bridge and then turn left for Castagneto. Follow signs for Castagneto. Once in Castagneto Carducci, drive further for 6 Kms until a fork for MONTEVERDI. Here, turn left for MONTEVERDI (NOT SASSETTA) and after 1,5kms, on the right, you will find the entrance of "Tenuta La Bandita". Continue for 600 m until the main Villa.
FROM THE SOUTH(Roma):
Take the Aurelia and drive towards GROSSETO-LIVORNO. Continue until Donoratico and leave the superstrada here.***

By airplane
From Pisa Airport to Villa la Bandita
Take the highway A12 direction Livorno and exit in Rosignano Marittimo.
Now follow signs for ROMA–GROSSETO and exit in DONORATICO.
At the end of the sliproad at the roundabout,
follow signs for CASTAGNETO CARDUCCI to the right. Pass over a bridge and
then turn left for Castagneto.Follow Castagneto signs.Pass the village,follow the road for 6kms until the road forks. Bear left following MONTEVERDI signs (NOT SASSETTA). Continue for 1,5 kms then turn
right at the sign for Tenuta La Bandita. Continue
for 600m until the main Villa.
