Podere Ponte a Nappo is in the delightful countryside of San Gimignano at only 900mt from the medieval walls and it is easily reachable from the centre in only 5-10 minutes walking. Ponte a Nappo particular position lets spend a quiet holiday in San Gimignano, enjoying at the same time the view of the countryside and the city. Every day it will be possible to have breakfast and lunch on the border of the swimming pool. Moreover we organize dinner twice a week.
The wide garden offers different comforts: the solarium place with umbrellas, deckchairs, and sun beds; the picnic place with tables and plays for children; the swimming pool with view on San Gimignano and on the Chianti hills; the barbecue place with tables and chairs to have lunch outside; the aromatic herbs garden where to taste our cooking smells.
This year we made a fitness route immersed in the green where it is possible to run and to do free exercises in the equipped areas. Four mountain bikes are at guest’s disposal to do short tours in the countryside of San Gimignano.
Completely encircled by vineyards and olive groves, Ponte a Nappo offers apartments and bedrooms with private bathroom, entirely restored and equipped with all comfort and private parking.

To reach San Gimignano from Firenze Airport follow the indications for highway A1 and arrive to the exit of the highway A1 Firenze Nord, from there take the highway in the direction of Roma and go out at the exit Firenze Certosa. Take the superhighway Firenze-Siena and after about 30 km go out at Poggibonsi Nord, at the roundabout follow the indications for San Gimignano.
When you arrive in San Gimignano, take direction for Parking N°2 (Montemaggio) that is in front of Porta San Giovanni. To reach San Gimignano from Pisa Airport take the superhighway FI–PI–LI in the direction of Firenze after about 50 km go out at Empli Ovest, from there take the SS 429 the direction of Siena and after 20 Km you will be in Certaldo from there follow the indications for San Gimignano.

The City of San Gimignano is easily reachable whether by car or by public means. If you come from North, from the motor-way A1, you have to get out at Firenze Certosa, to take the FI-SI motor-way till Poggibonsi, and then to follow the directions to San Gimignano. If you come from North, from the motor-way A1, you have to get out at Valdichiana exit, to take the Siena-Bettolle motor-way in the direction of Siena. Reached Siena, you have to take the SI-FI motor-way in the direction of Firenze, to get out at Poggibonsi, and follow the indications to San Gimignano. The bus service joins San Gimignano with Firenze, Siena and Poggibonsi. The nearest railway station is in Poggibonsi and it is reachable by car or by bus in 15 minutes. PARKINGS -
Ponte a Nappo have a private parking.
San Gimignano historical centre is a zone with limited traffic, therefore parking is allowed only to residents.
For our guests who will stay in the historical centre access is allowed only for loading and unloading luggage, using the permit we give at your arrival.
After unloading luggage, we say where you can park outside the historical centre, in the free o pay parking, which are 5 minutes walking.
